For a limited time, the general public tee it up on Truckee's newest golf sensation as if they were a full member, and what a chance it is. By laying out two distinct "meadow" and "mountain" nines on the edge of the Martis Valley, not far from a popular ski resort, Harbottle and Miller have given this surprisingly golf-rich town something fresh to brag about. Timilick serves up everything a high-altitude golfer could ask for — corridors of tall pine and fir, volcanic rock outcroppings, perfectly placed water features (especially on the incredible back nine's final stretch) and, above all, killer views of the surrounding Sierra and Carson Range. A total of 218 homesites are available; all property purchases currently include a full golf membership, and a clubhouse is in the works.
