About Us
Founded in Reno, Nev., in 1997, Fairways + Greens has grown from a small tabloid covering golf in Reno-Tahoe to America’s only SuperRegional magazine dedicated to golf, travel and lifestyle in the American West and beyond. We combine the pinpoint editorial focus and versatility of a regional with the look and feel of a national magazine, with one big difference: Instead of page after page of instruction, we prefer to concentrate on the fun and rewarding side of the game, including travel, real estate, equipment, fashion, opinion, events and celebrity profiles. Our areas of regular coverage include Southern and Northern California, Las Vegas, the Southwest, Reno-Tahoe, the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. In the planning stages is a Big Sky section covering Colorado, Montana, Northern Utah and eastern Idaho.
Published six times per year, FG is distributed to 100,000 avid golfers and available by subscription, or at hundreds of participating golf retail outlets, courses, resorts and other businesses from San Diego to Seattle and as far east as Colorado. Each issue is also available online in its entirety through Texterity software, with major features and lots of extras available right here at fgmagazine.com.
